This page explains what data PustyniaBledowska.pl collects, what we use it for and how you can manage cookies. We try to collect as little data as possible.
Data controller
The data controller is the owner of PustyniaBledowska.pl. For questions about personal data and cookies, write to redakcja@pustyniabledowska.pl.
What data we collect
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, time of visit. The server logs these automatically to keep the site working and secure.
- Cookie data: described below. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set with your consent.
- Messages: if you email us, we use your email address and message to reply.
Cookies
- Essential: remember your cookie choice and selected language. Always active, because the site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): show us which pages are read so we can improve the site. The data is statistical.
- Advertising (Google AdSense and partner banners such as Booking.com): show ads that keep the site free.
On your first visit, a Google consent window appears – a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) compliant with the IAB TCF standard. You can accept all purposes, refuse consent or choose what you agree to (“Manage options”). Without your consent we do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and Google tools run in a limited mode without identifiers in your browser. Ads may still appear, but they are not personalised.
Changing your decision
You can change your decision at any time with the “Ustawienia cookies” (cookie settings) button in the bottom right corner of the page – it reopens the Google consent window. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Who receives data
- our hosting provider,
- Google (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, embedded Google Maps), including outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided by the GDPR; Google’s policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites,
- advertising partners whose banners we show (e.g. Booking.com).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office, uodo.gov.pl).
